Accessorizing a Cocktail Table
Once you have gotten the perfect cocktail table to accent your furnishings all you need is to accessorize to display a little of your personal style!
• Begin with an uneven number of accessories, 3 or 5 which have different shapes round, square, rectangle, or oval.
• Make sure that these accessories are different heights.
• The accessories should contrast in finish from the finish on the table. On a glass top table display wood, leather or a tactile finished accessory. On a wood top or leather top table use crystal glass or ceramic.
• Group accessories in a tight still life composition, Place this initial composition about 2/3 to the right of the table.
• Use books to vary heights and add dimension..
